Robb Coleman
Visiting Professor of Old Testament
Robb hails from sunny central Florida where he grew up on the beach. By God’s grace, Robb became a disciple of Jesus at age 13 and soon after felt a call to vocational ministry. He studied at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is currently finishing up a Ph.D. in Old Testament. He has over a decade of experience teaching the Bible at a small seminary in Colombia, South America and for the North Carolina Field Minister Program at Nash Correctional Institution in Nashville, NC.
Robb is passionate about studying, practicing, and teaching the Scriptures by the power of the Holy Spirit. In addition to teaching the Scriptures (and because he is obsessed with books), Robb serves as the Head of Public Services at the Library at Southeastern Seminary.
Robb and his wife, Katrina, have two beautiful daughters, Anastasia and Havah. He prefers to spend his free time with them exploring nature, watching a good movie, or visiting the Public Library (since working at a theological library is not enough for him…). In addition to spending time with his family, Robb has many hobbies: exercising, reading, hanging out with friends, traveling, and so much more. He’s immensely grateful for God’s unending goodness in his life.
